Wouldn't it be nice to have flawless skin in minutes? Well thanks to makeup, you can! Check out part 1! http://thesummerwonderland.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/flawless-skin-part-1.html
1). A basic foundation might be all that you need for perfect skin. It acts as a blank canvas for your makeup and therefore can give you an improved complexion. Choose from different types of coverage: light, medium, or heavy.
2). Concealer can be a life saver so it's good to have one tucked away in case of emergencies. If it's good it should do what it says on the tube - conceal.
3). Colour correcting is a fairly recent idea and seems kind of strange at first. The fact behind it is, green cancels out redness, yellow, lightens dark spots or dark areas of skin, blue adds radiance and reduces minor imperfections, and purple counteracts sallow undertones. Crazy as it sounds, putting colour on your face before concealer/foundation can give you perfect skin. Take my word for it!

Flawless skin - part 1
One thing that i'm sure all women dream of having is flawless skin! It seems like everything else would be better if our skin was perfect. Now i don't have perfect skin myself, so i'm no expert, but based on the facts, the following tips should give you relativley good looking skin! To see how using makeup can give you flawless skin, go to part 2 : http://thesummerwonderland.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/flawless-skin-part-2.html
1). To help you achieve better skin you need to identify your skin type. Do you have dry skin, oily skin, combination skin (both oily and dry in places), spot prone skin, sensitive or a mixture? Once you have identified your skin type you will have better luck in finding products that work for you.
2). The first rule for looking after your skin should be a cleanse, tone, and moisturize routine! Even if you think you don't need to, it will help keep your skin looking healthier and younger for longer! There are plently of brands out there to choose from!
3). A gentle face wash or exfoliator will give your skin a boost
4). Indulge in face masks whenever you can
5). Let your skin breathe! This is the most important tip. Try not to wear makeup when your having a lazy day; that way your skin will get a chance to breathe.
6). Suffer from spots? Use a spot treatment at night and see the results when you wake up!

Monday Wake Up Call
Mondays can be demanding and damaging and what we all need is a sparkle of something in our day to brighten us up for Tuesday! Your day may seem boring; nothing special, but sometimes you have to look at the small things in life; afterall, they are what matter most!
Jewellery can say so much about a person; what mood they are in, what their personality is like, their social status, and their beliefs. So as well as the fun of choosing what ring to wear when you get ready, it's nice to think about more than what colour it is.
Today i was internet shopping online when i came across these rings called "inspirational rings". They are very simple and delicate and personal because engraved in them is a word. You can get them with messages on them but i prefer the simplistic look of one powerful word. On a Monday especially you need a little something to boost your ego, and a look down at one of these metal bands on your finger can do just that.

June Favourites
It's the end of another month, and half a year flown by. This month i have been shopping quite alot and i can justify this by the fact that the weather is changing so often that my wardrobe can't keep up! Summer is my favourite month; i love the sun, the sea, and the 6 weeks off school! So i welcome July with open arms so long as it has sun on its to do list!
Skincare:
I like to use this moisturizer on my back and shoulders because it reduces spots and deeply moisturizes. However it does take a while to sink in which is why i don't use this on my face. However i will re-purchase this time and time again because it works wonders on dry/spot prone skin!
Makeup:
My favourite makeup product of June has been Maybelline One by One mascara. It gives great volume whilst still creating an effortless fluttery look. The whole time i have used this, i have never seen a clump!
Hair:
I rarely use product in my hair because it can be damaging, but sometimes my hair just won't cooperate and i have to take action! Vo5 extreme style matt gel/freeze gel is incredible when i want to keep my fringe in place! Also it's non-shiny and smells yummy!
Nails:
Thanks for reading! Come again :)

As a lover of all things yummy, i like to have breakfast differently on Mondays, whether that be outside under the morning sun; in bed with a book; or on the go! This morning i discovered a new option on the menu..bagels!
It may be a surprise to you that i have only recently discovered bagels, and deciding how to eat them is a delicious challenge. So to brighten up my Monday morning, i jammed to the radio in my pyjamas eating my phillidelphia and smoked salmon bagel! Mmm..
